Privacy notice

What happens with what you share here.

Effective September 6, 2026. This notice covers the website of Acupuncture of Orlando, 4248 W. Town Center Blvd, Suite 2, Orlando, FL 32837, run by Dr. Zakia Chang, AP, OMD.

The consultation form

When you request a consultation, we ask for your name, your phone number and a few details about your pain: where it hurts, how long it has been going on and what you have already tried. We use this to prepare the call back, nothing else. The request goes into the patient-inquiry system our practice uses, LeadConnector (HighLevel Inc.), a U.S. provider that processes it on our behalf. Sending the form is voluntary. You can always just call (407) 440-2808 instead.

After you send the form, your first name is kept for a moment in your own browser (sessionStorage) so the confirmation page can greet you. It never leaves your device and is deleted right after the page reads it.

We keep inquiries for as long as we need them to follow up. If you want yours corrected or deleted, call us or write to the address above and we will take care of it.

Text messages

The form has two separate checkboxes for text messages and both start empty. One covers messages about your request: a callback, an appointment confirmation, a reminder. The other covers promotional messages about treatments, offers and clinic news. Tick one, both or neither. We call you back either way, and ticking a box is never a condition of treatment or of any purchase.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or reply HELP for help. Telling us on the phone works just as well. The two permissions are separate, so opting out of one does not end the other. Say which one you mean, or reply STOP to both.

Our messages go out through LeadConnector (HighLevel Inc.), the patient-inquiry system this practice uses, which handles them on our behalf as our service provider.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

When you tick a box we keep a record of what you agreed to, the date and time, and the page you were on. That record exists for one reason: so we can show, if anyone ever asks, that we had your permission before we texted you.

Once you become a patient

Everything about your treatment, your medical history and your records at the clinic is protected under HIPAA and our Notice of Privacy Practices, which you receive at your first visit. This page here only covers the website.

Ad measurement

We advertise on Google. So we can tell which ad actually brought a patient to us, this site stores one first-party cookie named aor_attr for up to 90 days. It holds the click ID that Google attaches to the ad link (gclid) and the campaign labels from the link itself. No name, no health details, nothing typed into the form. If you arrived without clicking an ad, the cookie holds little more than the page you landed on.

If you send the form after clicking an ad, we attach that click ID to your request. We may later tell Google that this click led to an appointment, so that we stop paying for ads that bring nobody. Google receives the click ID and a yes, never your name and never what you wrote about your pain. Google LLC may set its own cookies for this conversion measurement; how Google handles data is described at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time. The site works exactly the same without them.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
• We do not share your mobile number or your text message consent with anyone for their own marketing.
• We do not run third-party analytics or social media pixels.
• We do not build remarketing lists from this site, so you will not be followed around the internet by our ads.
• Our fonts are hosted with the site itself, so opening a page sends no request to any font service.

Technical data

Like every website, this one is delivered by a hosting provider. When a page loads, the provider processes your IP address and standard request data in its server logs for security and delivery. We do not use these logs to identify visitors.

How we keep it safe

The whole site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), so what you type into the form is encrypted on its way to us. It lands in LeadConnector, which sits behind named accounts with their own passwords, reachable by the people in this practice who handle inquiries. This website keeps no copy of your request and runs no database of its own, so there is nothing here to break into.

Nobody can honestly promise that data is safe forever. What we can promise is the part we control: we ask for as little as we can, we keep it only as long as we need it to follow up, and we do not pass it on.

Children

This website is directed at adults looking for care. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
